About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) to provide visionary, district-wide leadership in technology strategy and operations. The CITO will be responsible for setting and aligning the district's multi-year technology vision with a focus on cybersecurity, instructional technology, digital equity, and AI implementation. This executive will lead high-impact programs, including enterprise systems migration and network infrastructure modernization, and will be accountable for ensuring equitable access to digital tools for all students, educators, and families. The role also involves overseeing cybersecurity, data governance, and leading the integration of technology into curriculum and instruction to enhance student learning experiences. Candidates for the CITO position at the company must have a Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 15 years' experience in information systems and technology administration, with at least 7 years in senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise IT services, modern IT environments, and a proven track record in leading large-scale technology programs. Experience in K-12 or higher education, particularly in instructional technology integration, and a commitment to educational equity are highly valued. The CITO will be expected to have exemplary leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
