Primary Purpose:
Under direct supervision, oversee consistent and equitable administration of employee pay, manage the stipend payment program, incoming and outgoing service records aligned to compensation, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Advises and supports internal and external stakeholders regarding compensation inquiries.

Experience:
3 years of clerical school district experience preferred
6+ months’ experience in Human Resources Compensation or similar setting preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Compensation:
1. Process teacher applications, verify certification, evaluate resumes, and determine compensation.
2. Script professional and detailed notes aligned with compensation appraisals.
3. Respond to candidate inquiries regarding compensation appraisals.
4. Respond to hiring manager inquiries regarding compensation placements.
5. Investigate and respond to salary review requests from district personnel.
6. Create compensation data reports as requested from internal and external stakeholders.
7. Review and respond to all Compensation email inbox within 24 hours.
8. Enter, update, and maintain accurate position data to include assignments, reassignments, salary changes, and separations.
9. Calculate salaries for new hires and assignment changes.
10. Create/Design the Human Resources Compensation and Supplemental Earnings Guidebook.
11. Create/Design Standard Operation Procedures related to compensation.
12. Create/Design post employees Letter of Agreements in the Skyward Employee Self-Service. Update proposed compensation language yearly. Draft professional communications to stakeholders related to LOA ready to view.
13. Track all charter compensation initiatives (late hire and retention bonus).
14. Provide training to campus administrative assistants and stakeholders related to stipend requests in Skyward.
15. Attend interdepartmental meetings and work directly and/or directly with multiple departments.
16. Acquire basic knowledge and understanding of the charter’s Teacher Incentive Allotment Program.
Service Records:
17. Track/Check in all employees incoming Service Records for accuracy of CYS and Paid Time Off (PTO) time allocations in Skyward Employee Access. Archive appropriately.
18. Respond to all service records requests within the outlined charter timelines during peak and off-peak hiring seasons.
19. Respond to service records inquiries within 24 hours.
20. Process and fulfill all service records requests from current and previous employees.
Reports and Correspondence:
21. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.
22. Prepares correspondence, forms, and reports according to district standards and requirements.
Other:
23. Answer and respond to incoming calls, receive reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.
24. Maintain confidentiality with all compensation information and professional integrity.
25. All other duties assigned by supervisor, Director, and Executive Director of Human Resources
26. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
27. Check USPS mail for service records receipts.
28. 100% on-site work location.
