Title: Corporate Tax Director

Position Overview

We are partnered with a firm seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Tax Director to lead our tax provision and reporting processes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our quarterly and annual tax provision under ASC 740, while also supporting various tax planning and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical tax background, significant ASC 740 experience, and a foundation from a Big Four public accounting firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of the companys global income tax provision under ASC 740, including deferred tax asset/liability analysis, valuation allowance assessments, and uncertain tax positions (FIN 48).
• Oversee all aspects of tax accounting and reporting for quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K).
• Collaborate closely with external auditors to manage the year-end audit process and ensure alignment on technical tax positions.
• Support corporate tax compliance by coordinating with internal teams and external advisors on U.S. federal, state, and international tax filings.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes that impact the companys tax position and communicate implications to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, including significant time spent at a Big Four accounting firm.
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP tax accounting (ASC 740), including experience preparing and reviewing complex tax provisions.
• Prior experience with OneSource Tax Provision or similar software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on, team-oriented approach.
