Director, R&D DSDH RWE & Advanced Analytics

About the Role: Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of RWE scientists, partner with therapeutic area leaders, and develop best practices in Real-World Evidence to support healthcare innovations and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead, manage, and mentor RWE scientists to influence strategy and execute projects from data feasibility to final presentation.
2. Partner with Data Science leaders to shape and deliver RWE initiatives.
3. Provide scientific leadership in RWE studies, including study design, data analysis, and interpretation.
4. Develop methodologies to mitigate biases in external control studies and other observational research.
5. Generate insights from historical data, literature, and databases to support regulatory processes.
6. Create study protocols, analysis plans, and deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in epidemiology or biostatistics.
• Expertise in R, Python, or SAS programming.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in biopharma or healthcare industries.
• 5+ years of experience managing teams.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and bias mitigation techniques.
• Knowledge of multiple real-world data sources and clinical trial data structures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in drug development and working in matrix organizations.
• Knowledge in oncology, immunology, or neuroscience.
• Experience with regulatory submissions and agency interactions.
