Job Description:

Our Federal Engineered Systems Global Business Unit is a world-class leader in delivering engineering and technology solutions to Federal DoD and Civilian clients.

The FAA has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform U.S. air traffic control by 2028. Success requires FAA integration expertise, program delivery management, technical leadership, and accountability for delivery. Our vision is to replace the FAA's legacy systems with a unified, integrated mission environment supporting advanced air mobility, unmanned aircraft, and next-generation technologies.

Parsons is seeking a talented Finance Lead to join our team. You will provide high-quality financial management information and professional advice to senior management regarding financial strategy, planning, analysis, and reporting.

Preference is for candidates located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Parsons will consider remote/hybrid employees with 75% travel to the NCR.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Review key business objectives and develop financial strategies to support their delivery.
2. Deliver financial analysis and propose solutions based on business strategies.
3. Develop effective financial procedures and implement changes to meet targets.
4. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and senior management.
5. Produce monthly financial statements to support decision-making.
6. Contribute to corporate financial reporting.
7. Ensure contractor invoices comply with payment procedures and are paid on time.
8. Investigate significant budget variances and recommend remedial actions.
9. Maintain up-to-date financial reports and records per policies.
10. Oversee resources, projects, and finances.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance Management, or Accounting; Master’s preferred.
• Chartered Accountant Certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of financial management, analysis, and budgeting experience.
• Experience with government programs and financial integration preferred.
• Strong background in financial management, including P&L, Balance Sheets, Cashflow.
• US Person.

Desired Skills:

• Leadership, negotiation, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office.
