Job Description

To be considered for a pilot position, you must: Be at least 21 years of age Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings Have an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on your Airman Certificate Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate Be a U.S. citizen or able to show proof of the right to work in the U.S. Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit Have a current Passport or other travel documents enabling re-entry into the U.S. and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Be available to work any day, including nights, weekends, and holidays Be within three months of meeting the minimum hour requirements Complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course, which will be provided upon application and successful interview Meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment SkyWest recognizes helicopter and glider flying skills. Time in these aircraft types can count towards the total flight hours if the applicant has a minimum of 250 PIC hours of fixed-wing experience. Location requirements include: Idaho: Boise Minnesota: Minneapolis / St. Paul Michigan: Detroit Utah: Salt Lake City Washington: Seattle Job responsibilities include: Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting safe and efficient flights Assist the PIC and passenger service personnel to ensure prompt departures Assist or relieve the PIC in manipulating the aircraft's flight controls during taxiing, takeoff, and landing Physical and other requirements: Must have a First Class Medical Certificate Must be willing to work on an assigned schedule based on pilot bidding seniority, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr SkyWest Airlines
