You'll help achieve this mission as a Receiver/Checker, by ensuring that the correct merchandise is received by the facility free of damage, infestation, and in correct quantities.Text "CS" to 32543 to learn more about how you can become a part of our legacyJob DescriptionPay: $19.50/hour (Includes shift differential & freezer premium)Schedule: 3 - 13 hour shifts - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (530pm start)Location: 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406, USA You will contribute by: Examining contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming shipment. Record the correct count and pallet type for input upon completion of the PO.Record shipment data into computer system, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes. Maintain accurate counts on inbound freight to insure appropriate warehouse storage availability.Assisting with maintaining an accurate inventory through cycle/directed counting. Research customer service issues including, but not limited to shortages, overages and damages and recommend appropriate response.Monitoring warehouse management system for open invoices.Supporting the even flow from receiving to shipping and communicate issues and concerns. Identify and monitor high volume and high dollar items during shipping process.Labeling all pallets to be stocked and verify accuracy of inbound freight received by comparing the purchase order with the bill of lading.
