Job Description

Schedule Mon-Fri 8am-430pm

Leading provider of precision sheet metal and machining fabrication. The company's engineers and manufacturers are experts at rapid prototyping and working on production runs of all volumes, from pilot to mass production. Company processes aluminum, ABS steel plate, and Lexan polycarbonate materials and features CNC machining, welding, assembly, painting, and silk screening capabilities.

* Work with Temp agencies to fill hourly, direct roles
* Temp Agency coordination
* Temp timecards
* Temp to full-time/regular conversions
* Temp terminations
* Hiring and Onboarding
* Offer letters
* Background checks, drug testing, E-Verify
* Hiring paperwork
* Orientation and onboarding
* ADP Payroll Support
* Timecard issues
* PTO entry
* Employee changes
* Benefits administration
* New hire communication and enrollments
* Health and 401k
* Enrollments, changes, terminations (ADP, and carriers)
* COBRA administration
* Open Enrollment
* 401k enrollments, changes, and loans
* Administrative Duties and projects
* Admin support for HR Director
* Employee file scanning and HRIS maintenance
* Employment verifications
* Data entry
* HR reporting (monthly, quarterly)
* Support and partner with the HR Director on key HR initiatives, as needed, including but not limited to:
* HR strategy and compliance
* Employee Relations
* Performance management
* Safety
* Training

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or a combination of education or HR certification and work experience that will enable the candidate to be successful in this role.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources required, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
* Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED.
* Experience using HRIS especially ADP helpful.
* Must have proficient knowledge of Federal and CA state employment related regulations,
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with management and staff.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage projects.
* Enhanced organizational and planning skills with the ability to operate in a fast paced ever evolving environment.
* Proven ability to manage confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
