Ensures quality, timeliness, and efficiency in service, repair, and design tasks. Develops complex software programs, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure proper system operation. Communicates design and operation details to customers, consultants, sales, service teams, and subcontractors. Key Tasks Designs, configures, and services complex building control systems for client facilities, including creating flow diagrams, sequences of operations, bill of materials, network layouts, schedules, and electrical schematics. Develops and tests software to meet customer requirements. Creates drawings and schedules for submittals, service, and installation. Manages material orders and tracks deliveries. Assists with system loading, commissioning, and validation of system functionality, collaborating with subcontractors and trades. Provides field change information for as-built documentation. Monitors project progress and communicates with management, contractors, and customers. Provides site-specific training to owners/operators. Participates in coordination meetings, performs value engineering, and may supervise technicians. Adheres to safety standards, prioritizing employee and subcontractor safety. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in engineering or minimum eight (8) years' relevant experience Knowledge of construction, service, or HVAC industries Understanding of control theory, building automation, and subsystems Experience integrating low voltage building subsystems using protocols like LON, BACnet Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences Advanced computer skills, especially in drafting tools **Hiring hourly rate: $37-$47**, determined by education, experience, skills, and market data.
