Irrigator Tech at 1 Stone Solutions

Full Time : Monday - Friday 40 Hours a week (Some Weekends as needed)

6am - 4:30pm

Hourly Rate: $17-20/ hr Based on Experience.

Location: Haltom City, TX

Requirements:

• You must be 18 years old.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background/fingerprint check are required and must pass.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.

Job Duties:

An irrigation technician installs, maintains, and repairs irrigation systems. They work with various irrigation systems, including automatic controllers, backflow devices, and specialized equipment. Key responsibilities involve managing, inspecting, and repairing systems, as well as providing general groundskeeping and landscaping support.

• Installation and Maintenance: Installing new irrigation systems, maintaining existing ones, and retrofitting older systems.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing issues with irrigation systems, including leaks, broken sprinkler heads, and control problems.
• System Operations: Operating and maintaining automatic irrigation systems, including controllers and backflow devices.
• Record Keeping: Documenting system inspections, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Seasonal Duties: Performing spring startup, controller programming, and winterization tasks.
• Water Management: Providing recommendations for efficient water usage, including watering schedules and drought solutions.
• Grounds and Landscape Support: May also be involved in general groundskeeping and landscaping tasks.
• Perform hallway clean up on rainy days at assigned schools.
• Performs other tasks as required
