Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Machine Operator - Punch Press to join their team. As a Machine Operator - Punch Press, you will be part of the production department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent time management abilities, and a willingness to adapt, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator - Punch Press

Location: North Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $23

What's the Job?

• Program, setup, and operate a CNC Punch Press, preferably AMADA.
• Inspect production parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Communicate with production leads to meet demands and follow schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years experience in programming and setup of CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D prints, 3D models, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of sheet metal and punch assembly tooling.
• Proficiency in using basic measurement instruments to verify components meet specifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
