Responsibilities
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated
Mid-Level QA Tester to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our user-facing web application. The ideal candidate has a passion for finding bugs, a keen eye for detail, and solid experience in manual testing methodologies, particularly
regression and
web application testing . You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify, document, and resolve software defects, playing a crucial part in delivering a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities: \n - \n Execute Test Cases: Perform manual testing, including functional, usability, UI/UX, and comprehensive regression testing on our web application across various browsers and devices.
\n - \n Develop Test Plans: Design, create, and maintain clear and concise test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.
\n - \n Identify and Report Defects: Accurately identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies in our bug-tracking system (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Provide detailed steps for reproduction and verify bug fixes once they are resolved.
\n - \n Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the development and product teams to understand new features and ensure testing activities align with project timelines and release schedules.
\n - \n Maintain Quality Standards: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes and standards.

The is a temporary, surge support position for six weeks.
Qualifications Required Qualifications \n - \n 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a software quality assurance or testing role.
\n - Demonstrated experience in web application testing , with a strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
\n - Proven expertise in creating and executing regression testing suites to ensure existing functionalities remain stable after new code changes.
\n - Proficiency with bug-tracking software such as Jira , Asana, or a similar tool.
\n - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
\n - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n - A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
\n - 4 years with AS/AA; 2 years with BS/BA; 6 years with no degree

Preferred Qualifications \n - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
\n - Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
\n - Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
\n - Exposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
\n - Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

Target Salary Range $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
