This position reviews and enters the personnel action form payroll data into our Paycom payroll system, and enters and reviews all garnishments, benefit deductions and 403(b) contributions. The Payroll Specialist is also responsible for annual W-2s. This position assists employees with payroll-related tickets as well as assisting with 403(b) and password resets. The position provides backup support to Accounts Payable as needed. Essential Duties Responsible for setting up new hires and employment terminations in Paycom Processes benefit adjustments, payroll changes, garnishments and wage assessments. Prepares payroll reports, reviews transactions for completeness and accuracy. Reviews direct deposit accounts for accuracy. Reviews data approved by managers and directors in Paycom Time & Attendance, transmits payroll, and reviews processed payroll for any errors. Responds to any questions the senior accountants may have before final posting to the general ledger. Reviews payroll registers, quarterly and year-end tax reports. Processes corrections, amendments, W2C’s as needed. Manages leave balances, vacation and sick time and handles yearly vacation rollover. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates payroll business process and documentation of procedures. Responsible for custom payroll reports for management. Works closely with Human Resources for benefits administration and policy. Provides back-up coverage to accounts payable. Provides excellent customer service to staff, customers and all outside contacts. Performs other duties as assigned. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (intermediate formulas, pivot tables, and x-lookups) Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data appropriately. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of full cycle payroll processing, garnishment processing and timekeeping experience 2 years of Paycom or similar HRIS/Payroll Systems experience Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of FLSA standards and wage and hour regulations Proficient personal computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Driving Category - Requirements Driving Category B: Employees who may drive RMHS or personal vehicles for business purposes. Category B employees may transport other employees but will not transport RMHS clients. Valid driver’s license Proof of motor vehicle insurance Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work, including transporting individuals No major violations in the past three years. No more than two moving violations in the past three years Ability to meet and maintain agency driving requirements and operate agency vehicles Drivers must upload proof of ongoing auto insurance every 6 months into Paycom/Relias.
