We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Engineering Manager to lead all aspects of manufacturing and production engineering. This role will oversee work order implementation, router creation, and the development of efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach to managing a team of manufacturing engineers, production programmers, and planners.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage manufacturing routers for work order execution
Oversee the creation of production drawings to support product fabrication
Lead manufacturing engineering projects and process improvement initiatives
Drive operational efficiency by identifying deficiencies and implementing corrective actions
Collaborate with Sales and other departments to support manufacturability of new and existing products
Manage, mentor, and support team members across engineering and production planning functions
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of experience leading engineering teams within a production or process-driven environment
In-depth knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and related equipment
Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement methodologies
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience with ERP systems (Global Shop experience is a plus)
Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles is highly desirable
Ability to build high-performing teams and foster cross-functional collaboration
