Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Document Controller to support a large-scale capital project. This role is responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining all project documentation while ensuring compliance with document control standards and procedures. The Document Controller will also support the Project Manager by implementing document control workflows and ensuring timely delivery and archiving of project records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce project documentation policies, procedures, and standards.
• Set up and maintain electronic document management systems (EDMS) and workflows.
• Coordinate document control training and onboarding workshops for project team and contractors.
• Develop and maintain the Project Document Controls and BIM Plan in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Track and report document status based on project milestones (look-ahead and overdue documents).
• Archive and ensure accessibility of documents for all stakeholders; manage user access rights.
• Ensure proper handover of project documentation to site repositories following required standards.
• Provide general administrative support including meeting coordination, training logistics, and status updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Document Control role, preferably on CAPEX projects.
• Strong knowledge of document control practices, standards, and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project document management systems.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (Build/Docs/BIM Collaborate) is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with document handover and close-out procedures in large infrastructure or construction projects.
• Familiarity with CAPEX project lifecycles and engineering documentation workflows.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination processes
