SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Responsible for overseeing IDD residential programs to ensure compliance with DDS (Developmental Disabilities Services) regulations and agency policies.
* Ensure that all services foster community integration, promote independent living skills, and safeguard the health and well-being of the people supported.
* Manage daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring the delivery of quality services, and maintaining compliance with all relevant local and federal regulations
* Strong knowledge of DDS regulations, including ISP, BSP, MAR, and Medicaid documentation requirements.
* Ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team of DSPs.
* Strong understanding of the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
* Ability to communicate effectively with staff, individuals, families, and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and quality assurance practices.
* Competency in computer systems and relevant software for record management.
* May require lifting, positioning, and transferring individuals.
* Work environment may involve exposure to aggressive behaviors or situations requiring special safety precautions.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* High school diploma or GED required
* Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings.
* Experience managing or supervising teams in a residential or community-based setting preferred.
* Valid state-issued driver's license with a good driving record required.
* CPR/First Aid required
* TB required
