Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Loadout Operator/Scale House Operator to join our team at Asgard Resources, a leading provider of frac sand, located in Northwestern North Dakota and Eastern Montana. We are a rapidly expanding company specializing in frac sand processing. Since 2019, we have established ourselves as a premier supplier of frac sand to oil & gas companies across the country.

We are currently looking for the right people to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for managing the loadout process and ensuring accurate measurement and documentation of materials. You will operate computerized scales to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles, logging essential information such as vehicle type, tags, and driver details. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Loadout Operations:

  • Operate and monitor loadout equipment, ensuring safe and efficient loading of frac sand onto transport vehicles.
  • Conduct pre-load and post-load inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Log and manage data in a centralized database.
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment.

- Scale House Management:

  • Operate and maintain the scale system, ensuring accurate weight measurements of loaded materials.
  • Prepare and issue weight tickets for each load, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.

- Quality Control:

  • Monitor frac sand quality during the loading process and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loadout area and scale house.

- Communication:

  • Collaborate with dispatch, drivers, and other team members to schedule and coordinate loadouts effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Experience with CB/radio communication.

- Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety within the facility.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in related fields is a plus.
  • Previous experience in loadout operations or scale house operations preferred, preferably in the mining, aggregate, or construction industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
