Part-time 1-3 days/week 9am-2pm

Creative STEAM Academy, a vibrant and innovative homeschool learning center, is seeking an enthusiastic and creative educator to join our growing team! Were looking for a multi-subject credentialed teacher with a passion for Science and STEMsomeone who brings learning to life through labs, hands-on, project-based experiences, interactive notebooks .

Schedule by Grade:

• Tuesday 9am-2pm: 4th Grade Science
• Tuesday 9am-2pm: 5th Grade Science
• Thursday 9am-2pm: 6th Grade Science
• Friday 9am-2pm: 7th/8th Grade Combo Science

What Youll Do:

• Teach engaging, creative lessons in history, social studies, and financial literacy to grades 4-8
• Create curriculum and lesson plans following CA state standards, NGSS's, Common Core aligned
• Incorporate project-based learning strategies including art, cooking, reenactments, music, and performance
• Use provided curriculum outlines and supplement with resources from Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT), Pinterest, and other creative tools
• Create a fun and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration
• Design and supervise hands-on projects that bring science to life
• Collaborate with fellow educators to support student learning and development

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about teaching and creative education
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Self-starter with a knack for engaging young learners
• Comfortable planning and leading hands-on, project based, thematic lessons
• Familiar with homeschool learning models or open to alternative education approaches

Must have:

• Teaching Credential
• Experience Teaching in a classroom
• Curriculum development experience
• Homeschool experience is a plus but not required
