In this role, you'll take the lead in developing audit programs, driving risk assessments, and strengthening key processes-all while building strong relationships across the organization. Responsibilities & Qualifications This position offers both remote and hybrid work locations. Candidates who reside within 50 miles of an office location (West Bend, Madison, Appleton) will be offered a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are fully remote (beyond 50 miles) may occasionally be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and corporate events. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a key role in leading financial and operational audits, driving process improvements, and influencing decision-making at the highest levels of our organization. What You'll Do

• Lead operational and financial audits of critical business processes
• Assess and enhance risk management, control, and governance practices
• Work closely with stakeholders across the company to drive efficiency
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior auditors and co-sourcing firms
• Assist in developing the annual internal audit plan and Audit Committee materials
• Advocate for strong internal controls and corporate governance

What You'll Bring

• 4 - 6 years of audit experience , preferably in the insurance industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Solid knowledge of audit processes, methods, and best practices

Preferred Education and Training Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), or CISA (Certified Information Security Auditor) Completion of Program in General Insurance or other relevant continuing education The salary range for this position is $90,000-$113,000. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
