Job Overview: You will build and lead PR and communication efforts around T-Mobile's prepaid brands. You'll collaborate with marketing and business partners, create and drive brilliant PR strategies across earned, owned and paid channels, advise executives and leadership, and land coverage in broadcast, print and online outlets. You have a strong strategic approach and have proven examples of bringing creative ideas to life by driving earned media through unique storytelling. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starter who can collaborate or work independently and will bring (and implement!) daring, break-through ideas. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days week in the office. This position is located in Bellevue, WA.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop thoughtful, tailored media campaigns plans, dream up and sell in unique story concepts and attention-getting moments with leadership
  • Work with influencers, build events and create opportunities
  • Lean into data and insights, drive news and stories, create programs that reach local communities and engage with social teams
  • Develop and manage reporter relationships and tackle problems
  • Pinch hit on a wide variety of projects for the team and in lock-step with our agency resources
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree and 10+ years' experience in communications and media strategy at a PR/marketing agency or fast-paced corporate comms/PR team
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • In-depth knowledge of what makes news and how to manufacture coverage without hard news
  • Ability to partner across the company and with different teams
  • Understanding of social media's impact on media relations
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience creating super creative campaigns for breakthrough products or industries such as retail and consumer (earned with consumer offerings)
