Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Traveling Cable Technician to join our growing team. This role involves traveling to various job sites across the country to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling.
• Perform cable testing, labeling, and documentation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Mount and install network racks, patch panels, and cable trays.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
• Adhere to safety standards and company protocols.
• Travel extensively to support projects nationwide.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in low-voltage cabling or structured cabling systems.
• Familiarity with BICSI standards is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
