• Must be willing to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox

Unit Notes

• Primary diagnoses: Major Depression, ADD/ADHD
• RN responsible for:
  • Medication administration & education
  • Daily documentation of patient care
  • Behavior management & monitoring
  • Leading and participating in education groups
• Patient Population: Children & Adolescents, ages 6–18
• Team: Interdisciplinary care team
• Skills: Strong communication, ability to manage stress, set professional boundaries, teamwork, and self-direction
