The SaaS Engineering organization within Cisco Networking Engineering is committed to revolutionizing the deployment of generative AI applications. Our mission is to improve IT visibility and deliver comprehensive analytics for the AI infrastructure stack. Using groundbreaking technologies, we are developing next-generation SaaS-based controllers designed to efficiently manage Data Centers with AI/ML solutions. Your Impact You will work on Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric, an innovative cloud-operated AI cluster solution. Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric aims to provide customers with a unified compute and networking fabric, along with a management system that enables the creation of easily deployable, scalable, and manageable AI/ML solutions. We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to enhance Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric with fresh insights. This forward-thinking UX Designer will collaborate with highly skilled UI and back-end engineers. You will be responsible for crafting and building user-facing features, transforming needs and practices into an excellent front end. Your work is the most visible part of the product! Partner with engineering and product teams to explore solutions and carry concepts from creation to execution. Lead end-to-end feature design, translating abstract ideas into viable product features. Facilitate design discussions with partner teams to gather feedback and craft elegant design solutions. Use interpersonal skills to help others envision and rally around your designs as a storyteller and communicator. Provide ongoing support to engineering teams during development to ensure high-quality implementation and user experience. Conduct workshops, sketching, prototyping, and create high-fidelity designs. Collaborate closely with leadership to improve design processes. Minimum Qualifications 11+ years of professional experience in UX, UI, or front-end design. Experience with design techniques such as storyboarding, sketching, system mapping, prototyping, or working with design systems. Proficiency with tools like Figma, Adobe, Sketch, or similar. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field, or equivalent industry experience. A portfolio showcasing past design work, deliverables, end-to-end process, and impact on users and business. Ability to articulate design needs and decisions to diverse collaborators and leadership.
