Job Description

Wind Field Technician

We are seeking a Wind Field Technician for our client on a direct hire basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance.

*You'll perform inspections, repairs, and upgrades on wind turbines—ensuring peak performance and safety standards are met.

*Successful candidates must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout the US. Experience with renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required.

*Up to $140 daily per diem for projects nationwide.

Job Requirements:

  • Maintenance and operation of robotic systems used for cleaning, inspection, and repair of wind turbines
  • Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on turbines to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
  • Fault diagnosis and resolution of technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technology
  • Reporting and documentation of work completed, including identifying issues, repairs, and maintenance performed
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
  • Installing and operating robotic equipment

Qualifications:

  • Utility-scale renewable energy experience, preferably in wind turbine maintenance
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to travel frequently and work in field conditions
  • GWO BST
  • GWO ART
  • OSHA 10 or 30
  • NFPA 70E
  • First aid trained
  • Drivers License
