This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 97th FSS Child and Development Center. Pay will be set based on experience and education and/or certification:
The position is located at Altus AFB, OK, and is accepting applications. The opening and closing dates for this position are from 04/23/2025 to 07/25/2025. The salary range for this position is $18.51 - $20.80 per hour.
This position does not require remote work or travel. It is a permanent position with an intermittent work schedule, offering the possibility to work up to 40 hours a week. The service is competitive, and the promotion potential is 3.
The job family for this position is 1702 Education And Training Technician. The position is not requiring a supervisory status or a security clearance. However, a drug test is required, and the position is classified as non-sensitive (NS)/low risk.
This position is open to everyone. To qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs and other organizations. You must be at least 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent). Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. This is an entry level position no training or experience is required. Must meet specific physical requirements, pass a physical examination, and have required immunizations. Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation installation, state and national criminal background checks is required. Must satisfactorily complete mandatory training as specified below.
