Responsibilities Performs system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools, troubleshoots HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues, responds to warranty calls, and provides high-quality service to optimize building efficiency. Acts as a trusted advisor, offering solutions and outcomes during service. Key Tasks Loads system controller software Performs commissioning and diagnostics from controllers to end devices Communicates progress and issues to management and clients Calibrates systems with electronic test equipment Completes administrative documentation Documents changes for as-built records Maintains communication with clients upon arrival and departure Follows safety standards and attends safety training Provides recommendations for efficiency improvements and upselling opportunities Prepares quotes supporting recommendations Minimum Requirements 2-year degree in relevant field or 2+ years industry experience in HVAC or electronic/mechanical systems Knowledge of HVAC controls, facilities management, installation, and servicing techniques Effective interpersonal skills and professionalism Ability to explain technical info to diverse audiences Leadership skills for supporting team activities PC proficiency and software programming skills Additional Details Hourly rate varies based on experience and qualifications.
